White cover with album photo in white border; white spine and rear panel. Printed on thin glossy paper. Track list on inner and rear panels. Inner rear panel shows ‘Marketed etc by EMI and printed in Holland by EMI Services Benelux’. Cassette came in cream plastic EMI box.
The catalogue number begins 1C, this would denote that this is a German EMI issue however the shell states ‘Made In The EEC’; the shell also shows the mechanical rights society – ‘GEMA’, (Germany) only. The rights information is in German on one side of the shell and English on the other; this tape has been classified as for EU distribution.
Black ink printed directly onto cream shell. ‘Made In EEC’ with GEMA rights logos; track list and ‘XDR Quality System’ logo printed onto shell.
XDR was a process developed by Capitol Records to provide higher quality audio and is the American branding of their original Canadian SDR (Super Dynamic Range) released a year earlier. SDR Let’s Dance tape is available under the Canadian Let’s Dance page.
