The Man Who Sold The World: USA; RCA; PK 2103: 1972. 

The Man Who Sold The World. 1st issue. RCA PK 2103.

The cover is on single sheet, thick folded card and the photograph is bordered with pink surround and bordered in black. The inner panel is purple. Underneath the photograph the text  says “Previously released on Mercury 61325”, this was the catalogue number of the USA release on LP.

White paper labels on grey shell, solid red RCA. Side two shows record plant stamp at bottom left. Inner cover shows other titles in the series.

Track sequence is different from the original LP.

Side 1: The Width Of A Circle; All The Madmen; Black Country Rock; Running Gun Blues

Side 2: After All; Saviour Machine; She Shook Me Cold; The Man Who Sold The World; The Supermen.

 

2. The Man Who Sold The World. Early issue. RCA PK 2103.

The cover is on single sheet thick, folded card and the photograph is bordered with pink surround and bordered in black. The inner panel is purple.Underneath the photograph the text  says “Previously released on Mercury 61325”, this was the catalogue number of the USA release on LP.

Black ink printed directly onto a grey shell with solid red RCA logo. The same cover as the 1st release is used however the rear of the cover is blank and the paper used is thinner.

Track sequence is different from the original LP.

Side 2: After All; Saviour Machine; She Shook Me Cold; The Man Who Sold The World; The Supermen.

 

3. The Man Who Sold The World: USA; RCA; AYK1-4813. Reissue from 1980.

The cover is thick card with perforated seams, the picture has no border and the titles in sequence are below it, the rear is blank. Black spine and rear panel

Black ink printed directly onto a grey shell with solid black RCA logo. Shell type variants

Track sequence is different from the original LP.
