The Man Who Sold The World: EU; EMI, 264-7918374; 1990.
1. EMI cassette, stock issue. White ink on clear shell with insert.
Although made in France (264 prefix on catalogue number), the cassette is also stamped with the German mechanical rights organisation – GEMA as they were intended for Europe wide distribution. Different languages are used on the cassette and the French price code is on the rear of the cover (PM 464). Like their CD and LP counterparts the sleeve has been enhanced with photographs and lyrics etc.
The track sequence has been slightly adjusted from the LP format so that tracks 1 and 2 from side 2 ‘Running Gun Blues’ and ‘Saviour Machine’ have been added as the last tracks on side 1 to give room for the bonus tracks: ‘Lightning Frightening’, ‘Holy Holy’, ‘Moonage Daydream’ and ‘Hang Onto Yourself’ on side 2.
