Never Let Me Down: UK; EMI America, TCAMLS 3117; 1987.

1. XDR was a process developed by Capitol Records to provide higher quality audio and is the American branding of their original Canadian SDR (Super Dynamic Range) released a year earlier. SDR Let’s Dance tape is available under the Canadian Let’s Dance page.

White cover with full album photo; white spine and rear panel, except lyric panels which are black with white cut and paste style lyrics. Inner panels fold out to reveal album art, personnel and production etc. The rear of the cover has the lyrics printed on it on thick, treated paper. Track list on rear and inner panel. XDR logo on spine and XDR information on inside of inner panel.

Black ink printed directly onto yellow shell. No track information on shell.

The track sequence is the same as the original LP.

Side 1: Day-In Day-Out; Time Will Crawl; Beat Of Your Drum; Never Let Me Down; Zeroes.

Side 2: Glass Spider; Shining Star (Makin’ My Love); New York’s In Love; ’87 And Cry; Too Dizzy; Bang Bang.

 

Never Let Me Down: Virgin reference tape; CDVUS 98 – Virgin Records Ltd; 02/10/95.

Produced on unmarked BASF Chrome Super II from DAT to correspond with the 1995  Virgin CD release . Includes the bonus tracks; “Julie”, “As The World Falls Down”, “Girls” and “When The Wind Blows”, worldwide rights (VRL) but produced in the UK.
