Cover photo bordered in white with all white panels. Treated, perforated light-card with track list on the rear panel. Writing and performing credits on inner and inside panels. ‘XDR’ logo on rear panel. SIAE stamp on spine.

XDR was a process developed by Capitol Records to provide higher quality audio and is the American branding of their original Canadian SDR (Super Dynamic Range) released in 1982.

White ink printed directly onto transparent, smoked shell with shaped slip sheet. ‘EMI America’ and ‘XDR’ logos on shell and SIAE rights logo on shell. Titles in English, information in Italian printed around the centre window. ‘Manufactured by EMI Italian SpA’.

David Bowie performs on six tracks: ‘Opening Titles Including Underground’, ‘Magic Dance’ and ‘Chilly Down’ on Side 1; and ‘As The World Falls Down’, ‘Within You’ and ‘Underground’ on Side 2.

The track sequence is the same as the original LP.
