  R-596511-1229637491.jpeg.jpg  Flag of Russia

Heathen: Russia; ISO/ Columbia, 508222 4; 2002.

Concertina style cover on thick, glossy, folded paper with black tab top cover photo and spine. Album artwork incorporating track and personnel information printed over the remaining four inner and five rear panels. Track list on rear panel only. Tape came in a smoked plastic case. Holographic stamp on the cover reads ‘only for sale in CIS’ and ‘Sony Music’.

The text on the inner panel (picture 2) is not in Barnbrook’s ‘Priori’ typeface, but a very crude attempt at mimicry; it is standard ’rounded’ letters scored through to look like Priori. There is more information on the panel and it is littered with mistakes such as ‘guitar lops’, ‘lop programming’ and ‘sylophone’ and even ‘Daid Bowie’ .

White text printed directly onto smokey, transparent embossed shell with no slip sheet. Information in English and Russian.

The track sequence is the same as the original CD.

Side 1: Sunday; Cactus; Slip Away; Slow Burn; Afraid; I’ve Been Waiting For You.

Side 2: I Would Be Your Slave; I Took A Trip On A Gemini Spaceship; 5:15 Angels Have Gone; Everyone Says ‘Hi’; A Better Future; Heathen (The Rays).
